- “Give Kids A Smile” program: Area dentists volunteer dental care services to underserved populations in our local communities.
- Children’s Dental Health Month (February): LCDS dentists and staff arrange in-school presentations to educate and motivate 1st or 2nd graders on the proper techniques of brushing and flossing, the influence of dietary habits on developing tooth decay and reminding students of the importance of seeking regular dental check-ups.
